ENID, Okla. — Celebration of life service for Janet Louise Hayes, 69, Pond Creek, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012, in New Hope United Methodist Church. Pastor Dr. Sheila Combs-Francis will officiate. Service is under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Janet was born June 11, 1943, in Jefferson, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy and Geraldine Reed Oliver, and passed away peacefully Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Enid.

She was raised in San Bernardino, California, moving to Pond Creek 30 years ago.

She married David Hayes January 8, 1965, in Las Vegas.

Survivors include her husband, David of the residence; son, Joe and wife Val Hayes of Pond Creek and Kenny Hayes of Enid; daughter, Susan and husband Robin Bench of Enid; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Kay Sanders of San Bernardino, California; numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Patricia.

The family has selected OMRF, Cancer Division, as appropriate for memorial donations, with Stittsworth Family coordinating. Condolences may be shared at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
