Billy Ray ALCORN

Pond Creek Cemetery


Billy Ray Alcorn, 54 of 1106 W. Poplar, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Pond Creek, with the Rev. Virgil Swift officiating. Burial will be in Pond Creek Cemetery.

He was born November 7, 1933, in South Haven, Kansas, where he attended school. In 1952 he moved to Medford, then to Enid in 1967. He worked for K & M Pipeline as a truck driver and was a member of Oklahoma Horseman Association. He and Janice Lambert were married August 1, 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Janice; three sons, Malon, Michael and Donald, all of Enid; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Glenda Kay) Halcomb and Mrs. James (Rita) Sellers, both of Enid, and Mrs. Corky (Patricia) McCormick of Hackett, Arkansas; two brothers, Paul Eugene, Enid and Earl Wayne, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Leroy (Elsie) Mitchell of Newton, Kansas, and Wanda Schreiner, Wichita; two step children, Johnny Lambert, Ada and Misty Lambert, Wanette; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
