New Home Cemetery


A funeral service for Sadie Alice Beall, 91, will be 2 p.m. today, Sept. 13, 2007, at Oakwood Christian Church with Pastor Michael Frisbie officiating. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery, Nash, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

She was born to William and Rosella York Hobson Weeks on Aug. 18, 1916, in Strong City, OK and died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, in Enid.

She attended school at Roll and Cheyenne and then earned an associate degree at Oklahoma State University.

On July 17, 1938, she married Forest Beall in Cheyenne. They made their home in Stillwater and Nash. She was an interior design consultant and worked for Ethan Allen Carriage House. She also owned a drapery business. Sadie was a member of Oakwood Christian Church, Eastern Star and Garfield County Republican Women. She was active in various singing groups including Garfield County Singers, Silver Chords, Oakwood Christian Church Choir and others.

Sadie is survived by her daughter, Ann Stuntz and husband Ross of Birmingham, MI; daughter-in-law Betty Beall of Kingfisher; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rae Ballard of Cedaredge, CO.

She was preceded in death by her husband Forest and son Jim.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
