Jacob T. Templin
April 24, 1860 ~ October 16, 1917


Mr J. Templin, who for a number of years has lived north of Verden, answered the call, Monday, October 15.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Christian church, conducted by Rev Henderson of Nacona, Texas, and interment made in the Verden cemetery amidst a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.

Deceased was born in Morristown, Tenn., April 24, 1860, departed this life October 15, 1917.

He moved to Caddo county, near Verden in March 1903, where he resided until his death.

He was married in 1882 to Mollie Camron, to which union were born four children, one boy, Fred, and Mrs C. A. Wollery and Mrs Bessie Loomis of Verden, and Mrs Minnie Storm of Kaw, Okla. who were present.

Mrs Mary Templin Passes Away

After Several Years Affliction, Succumbs Tuesday Night

Mrs Mary Templin passed away Tuesday night, at 10:30 o'clock, at the home of her aughter, Mrs J. B. Storm, with whom she made her home.

She has been an invalid for several years and has gradually declined in health the past few months.

She was born September 23, 1859, at Dandridge, Jefferson county, Tennessee. Her husband passed away at this place in 1917, and also one daughter, Mrs Bessie Loonis, in 1918.

Deceased, leaves to mourn her departure, two daughters, Mrs. Eva Woolery, Mrs Minnie torm and one son, Fred Templin all of Verden; five sisters and five brothers whom reside in other states, and may friends and acquaintances who knew her and loved her.

She was a devoted, loving, wife and mother, her life was a beautiful Christian experience, she being a member of the Methodist church.

Funeral services were held at the J. B. Storm residence at 2:30, Thursday afternoon and interment made in the Verden cemetery.
