© The Verden News Verden, Oklahoma Thursday, August 15, 1907 November 1, 1881 ~ August 11, 1907 Whereas, an all-wise Father has removed from among us, the wife of our esteemed brother, G. A. Shively, be it resolved that while we mourn the absence of the one he loved; we know she has passed from labor to reward. Resolced, that our order teaches the hope of immorality and leads us to dwell in rge beautiful traits in human nature; that it assures us that the golden chain that binds us in life cannot be severed by death. Resolved that our hearts go out in tender sympathy for our bereaved brother, and while we fondly cherish the memory of his departed wife, we will not forget the ones she loved. Resolved that a xopy of these resolutions ve sent to our heart broken brother, G. A. Shively and published in our village paper and the same be spread on the records of this lodge. Knights of Pythias Verden Lodge No 79 Center?CARDS OF THANKS To those who have been with us in our bereavement and by kind words kindly acts have tried to lessen our sorrow, we extend our sincere thanks.
