September 8, 1959 ~ September 5, 2011


Graveside service for Tamela Joyce Perkins, 51, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Verden Cemetery.

Tamela Joyce Perkins was born September 8, 1959 in Oklahoma City. She died September 5, 2011 at her home in Chickasha.

Tamela graduated from Old Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1978. She received her associate degree in computer engineering from Platt College. Tammy devoted her life to her many nephews, nieces and her church, Verden United Methodist Church. She worked at St. Anthony Hospital for many years. She lived in Chickasha for the last 15 years.

She was preceded in death by Grandmother: Ethel Gray; Grandfather: William Gray; Cousin: Roger Lane; and Aunt: Sadie Varley.

Survivors include: Life Partner: Arron Beets, Mother: Dorothy Woods, Father: Corrin King; Sister and brother-in-law: Reda and Jeff Schieber; Brother and sister-in-law: Poncho and Amber King; Sister and brother-in-law: Debbie and Mel Brickey and Many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
