Jimmie Dwain Pennel, Sr, 68 of Cement passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on November 8, 1947, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Johnny Addison Pennel Jr. and Ruby Viola [White] Pennel.

Jimmie was a police officer in the Anadarko and Verden area for many years. He was also a Firearm Instructor

Jimmie married Angela on June 18, 1994, in Verden, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Angela, of the home, 1 son; Jimmie Pennel Jr., and Kim Bowerman, Chickasha, OK, 3 daughters; Katrina Torralba, Chickasha, OK, Kelly Pennel and Micole Murray, Chickasha, OK, Adrianna Caward and husband Branson, Jacksonville, NC, 1 brother; Steve Pennel and wife Linda, Cement, OK, mother; Ruby V. Pennel, Cement, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Pennel, Jr, son Addison Douglas Pennel, one brother Bill Pennel

No Services at this time, under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK

Funeral services for Addison Douglas Pennel, 7, of Verden, Okla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2002, at Verden First Baptist Church.

Addison Douglas Pennel was born May 19, 1995, and died on Monday, June 3, 2002.

Burial will be in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Addison Douglas Pennel was born May 19, 1995, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Jimmie and Angela [Fiske] Pennel, and died Monday, June 3, 2002, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Addison lived in Verden all of his life. He was a kindergarten student and was a member of the Triumphant Church in Mangum.

Survivors include: his parents, Jimmie and Angela Pennel, of Mangum; three sisters: Adrianna Pennel, of Mangum, Kelly Pennel, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tina Balentine, of Chickasha; 1 brother, Jim Pennel, Jr., of Mangum; maternal grandparents, Charles and Jane Fiske, of Verden; paternal grandparents, John and Ruby Pennel, of Bakersfield, California; special aunt, Shanda Balentine, of Verden; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
