Harold Horace Millsap
Auigust 5, 1953 ~ October 19, 2018


Harold Horace Millsap, 65 passed away after a tragic auto accident, on October 19, 2018. Harold was the son of Frank and Marie [Stubblefield] Millsap and born on August 5, 1953 in Norman, OK.

Harold was retired from Delta where he worked in assembly.

He collected everything from shot glasses to cars.

He enjoyed fishing, OU Football and Live PD. Harold loved to talk on the phone and always had his bluetooth or a phone in his hand.

He was known for making up songs. He never met a stranger and was super friendly; always talking to anyone. Harold was a jokester who loved to get people laughing. He was also great at getting Shirley all worked up.

Both Harold and Shirley treated Boomer, their dog, as their baby.

Harold and Shirley are both survived by their children, Stephanie Weathers and husband Jeremy, Michelle Grissam, and Harold Millsap and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Trent, Ethan, Destiny, Kylee, Andrew, Alexis, JD, Natalie, Mallory, Conner, and Lily; Great grandchildren, Easton and Kinley; and a host of loving members. Harold is also survived by 6 siblings and Shirley by 4 siblings.

Both are preceded in death by their parents and 4 siblings each.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Verden Pentecostal Lighthouse, Verden, OK. Interment to follow at the Verden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.



Note:

Two people died Friday evening in a multi-vehicle crash in Grady County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report.

A 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck and a 2016 Hyundai SUV were involved in a crash shortly after 5:15 p.m. on U.S. 62 and County Street 2760, which is less than a mile east of Verden, Oklahoma. Three people were taken to area hospitals, two of whom died shortly after arriving, according to the collision report.

The victims have been identified as 65-year-old Harold Millsap and 51-year-old Shirley Millsap, both of Verden. The Millsaps were in the Hyundai, according to the collision report.

The driver of the Chevrolet pickup truck was admitted into an Oklahoma City hospital in fair condition, the report stated.

Highway Patrol officials have not released details about the crash, which is under investigation.

Shirley Ann [Scot] Millsap
January 26, 1957 ~ October 19, 2018


Shirley Ann Millsap, 61 passed away after a tragic auto accident, on October 19, 2018. Shirley was the daughter of Edgar and Beatrice [Tackett] Scott, and born on January 26, 1957 in Tulsa, OK.

Shirley was a homemaker and was known for her baking and cooking. The family said, “Betty Crocker had nothing on Shirley.” Shirley loved hummingbirds and kept her feeders full. She loved lighthouses, angels, and watching Animal Planet and Green Leaf on TV. She was dedicated to her Lord and her church and so grateful to Him. Shirley was so inviting and warm and a comfort to have around. She was always friendly and would do anything for anyone.

Harold and Shirley are both survived by their children, Stephanie Weathers and husband Jeremy, Michelle Grissam, and Harold Millsap and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Trent, Ethan, Destiny, Kylee, Andrew, Alexis, JD, Natalie, Mallory, Conner, and Lily; Great grandchildren, Easton and Kinley; and a host of loving members.
