Oklahoma City, Oklahoma June 2018 October 2, 1957 ~ June 5, 2018 Funeral service for Larry Dale Ludwig will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Verden Cemetery in Verden, Oklahoma. Larry Dale Ludwig, age 60, Lawton, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Oklahoma City following a lengthy illness. Larry was born October 2, 1957 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Elton and Madge [Gross] Ludwig. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1975. Larry married Janet Dickenson on June 11, 1977 in Lawton and was married for almost 41 years. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and working on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a great father and grandfather. Larry held various jobs before finding a job with CL Boyd where he worked for the last 20 years. He loved his job and work family. Larry will be missed by all. Larry is survived by his wife of the home, a daughter, Jessica Ludwig, two sons, Christopher and Kyle Ludwig all of Lawton, a granddaughter, SiddaLee Fortney, brother Gary Ludwig and wife Sandy of Houston, Texas, brother-in-law, Burl Dickenson, Jr and wife Eileen of Marlow, sister-in-law, Penny Dickenson Bennett of Maysville and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Larry also had two loving fur babies at home, Cocoa and Mojo. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Burl and Pauline Dickenson, Sr, sister, Louise Gray and brother-in-law Dennis Dickenson. The Ludwig family is very appreciative of CL Boyd for going above and beyond during this very trying time. Charitable contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Lawton, Oklahoma November 2020 May 29, 1957 ~ November 22, 2020 Memorial service for Janet Ludwig will be in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Due to the ongoing pandemic masks will be required at the service. Janet Ludwig, 63, Lawton, Oklahoma passed peacefully in her sleep Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her home in Lawton. She was born May 29, 1957 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Burl and Pauline [Reece] Dickenson. Janet attended schools in Lawton to include, Cleveland Elementary, Tomlinson Jr High, and Lawton High School. Janet married Larry Ludwig on June 11, 1977. They were married just six days shy of 41 years when Larry passed in 2018. Janet was mainly a homemaker, especially while her three children were growing up. She walked them to and from elementary school every day. She was very involved in their school activities. When the children were at Taft Elementary she never missed a class party, project, or fundraiser. Once the kids were in junior high and high school Janet worked for Furr's Cafeteria. Janet helped care for her father in law, Elton, and her father Burl in their later years until their deaths. She was also a caretaker for her granddaughter SiddaLee. She watched SiddaLee the first nine months of her life and many many nights as her daughter Jessica worked the night shift. She was a very proud grandma to both SiddaLee and Mason. Janet loved her family and spending time with them. She loved country music. Janet is survived by her daughter, Jessica Ludwig, two sons, Christopher Ludwig and Kyle Ludwig, two grandchildren, SiddaLee Fortney and Mason Ludwig, brother, Burl Dickenson, Jr and wife Eileen of Marlow, Oklahoma, and brother in law, Garry Ludwig and wife Sandra of Houston, Texas. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Dennis Dickenson, mother in law, Madge Ludwig, niece, Rexanne Dickenson, father in law, Elton, sister in law, Louise, nephew, Chad Dickenson.
