Earl Edwin Longenecker
December 3, 1909 ~ June 9, 1911

Earl Edwin, the infant son of Mrs and Mrs W.C. Longenecker, living north of town, died at their home Friday after an illness of eleven days. The little one was one year of age, and an exceptionally bright little fellow. the cause of his death was due to summer complaint, which often proves so fatal with children.

The funeral services were conducted at the Verden Methodist Church here Sunday morning, and the little body was laid to rest in the Verden cemetery amid a large host of sorrowing friends and relatives.
