Edith May Kinnard
July 17, 1918 ~ October 28, 1919

In memory of Edith Kinnard, infant daughter of Mrs and Mrs L. E. Kinnard of Anadarko, who was born July 17, 1918, died October 28, 1919, age 1 year, 3 months 11 days.

Internment was made in the Verden Cemetery Wednesday at two o'clock, Rev Taylor conducting the services.

Our little sufferer was sick but a short time and death came without warning. All that loving parents and kind friends could do to ease the suffering of this dear one was done, but all in vain. The death angel claimed her for his own. The music of her voice and the sound of her footsteps will be heard no more in the home. Gloom and sorrow mantle each brow, and tears of bitter grief moisten each cheek. She will be missed so much by her little brother and sister. But God knows best, He has plucked our forest flower.

There are left to mourn her loss, her father, mother, brother and sister.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family in their sad hour.

Sweet little darling,
Pride of the home,
Looking for loved ones,
Beckoning come,
Bright as a sunbeam,
Pure as the dew,
Anxiously waiting,
Loves ones for you.
