Graveside service for Jessie J. Wood, 94, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Ninnekah Cemetery.
Jessie J. Wood was born November 27, 1912 in Boswell, Oklahoma and died May 14, 2007 in Chickasha.
Jessie lived in Ninnekah for over 40 years. He retired from Grundyke Transport as a truck driver. After his retirement, he drove a school bus for Ninnekah Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by: Wife: Oneta Wood August 31, 1998; Parents, Granddaughter: Brandy Brown.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law: Ed and Lisa Brown of Chickasha; Dewey and Sharon Brown of Rush Springs; five grandchildren: Susan Shelton and husband Lenny; Clay Brown II; Brooke Bratcher and husband Garrin; Brannan Bordwine, Crystal Bordwine; six great-grandchildren: Craig Patton, Ciarra Shelton, Blaine Bordwine, Christian Bordwine, Ali Bordwine and Kinley Bratcher.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
