Chickasha, Oklahoma September 2021 September 30, 1959 ~ September 13, 2021 Gary Wayne VanSant was born September 30, 1959, at a little hospital in Medicine Park, Oklahoma. Gary was called to take his last load home on September 13, 2021. Gary grew up in Oklahoma. He attended and graduated Amber High School. Right after school, Gary decided he was going to make a career out of driving a Big Truck. Gary operated and managed semi-trucks for over 40 plus years; making hauls from Coast to Coast. On July 11, 1978, Gary married the love of his life, Pat. They started their life and gave birth to their first and only baby girl Brandy Michelle. Three years to the exact day, their life was changed again when their only Son, Michael LeWayne was born. Talking about timing. Gary & Pat raised their little family in Oklahoma, and the couple recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary. Gary was preceded in death by his Son, Michael VanSant; brother, Jimmy Burnett; brother-in-law, Lupe Garcia. Gary is survived by his wife, Pat VanSant of Chickasha; Daughter, Brandy (Tristan) Alexander of Chickasha; Granddaughter, Allcia Gonzales and her fiancé', Donnie; grandson, Jonathan Gonzales along with his fiance', Jaylee; granddaughters: Audrey VanSant and Jasmine Alexander; grandson, Zachary Gonzales. Two great granddaughters: Everlee and Arabella; sister, Sissy [Jimmy]; brother, Johnnie Ray [Laveta]. Gary is also survived by a host of other friends and relatives. |

, Oklahoma - August 3, 1983 ~ August 5, 2019 Michael LeWayne VanSant was born August 3, 1983 in Chickasha, OK to Gary and Vileta "Pat" Van Sant; he was born on his "Big Sister's" 3rd birthday. He was taken from his physical body on August 5, 2019 at the tender age of only 36 years old. Michael graduated from Ninnekah High School and took to working construction as a General Contractor. He was extremely loved in his family. Michael was one of 13 grandchildren of his Maternal Grandmother, Annie B. Williams who is presently 88 years of age. During the past 47 years, she has not lost one of her grandchildren. Michael loved his grandmother so much that he would read her Watchovers to her; joking with her, and whenever she wanted, he would always take her for walks. Michael wasn't just a "Little Brother" to Brandy, but also a brother to the other 11 grandchildren. His passing has created a deep impact in all our little pact. Michael would always be the one cutting-up, joking around with that mischievous sideways grin. He was the one that would, no matter what you looked like, always to you how beautiful you were; the one that if you were upset, he would give you the best hugs. He always said "I love you. If you had a nickname when you were young, it didn't matter how old or grown you became, he still used it: BoBo, Mia, Gigi, and Slugger. When Michael became an Uncle, he did not realize that his heart could get any bigger or prouder. He loved his only nephew, Jonathan; only nieces, Aleecia and Jasmine. He loved them if they were his own. Michael's heart grew even bigger. He was not prepared for the love he had in it when his only daughter, "Audrey Renae" was born 12 years ago. He loved his little girl more than life itself. No matter what anyone said, no matter what anyone did, his baby girl was his World. Michael held many titles in his life: Son, Grandson, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Daddy, and friend. But, the one that was best of all was "Family". Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leroy Wayne "Van" VanSant; paternal aunt, Pat Toliver; and maternal uncle, Guadalupe Garcia, Sr. Michael is survived by his parents, Gary & Vileta "Pat" VanSant; sister and brother-in-law, Brandy and Tristan Alexander; daughter, Audrey VanSant; Maternal grandmother, Annie B. Williams; paternal grandmother, Lavada Kelsey; nephew, Jordan; nieces, Aleecia and Jasmine; and his best friend since childhood, Matt Word. Survivors also include: Uncle Rusty and Aunt Diana; Aunt Lee; Aunt Elaine and uncle Danny; Aunt Laura and Uncle Eddie; A host of extended family. Michael will live forever in the hearts of 12: Lupe, Lena, Johnny, Lee, Slugger, Mia, Scott, Bobo, Gigi, Amber, Stephen, and Brandy. He will live forever as our brother.
