© Mercer-Adams Funeral Home Bethany, OK May 3, 2000 Nancy Marcella [Billy] Miller MILLER Nancy Billy, 29, died at her home on May 3, 2000 after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was born Dec. 19, 1970 in OKC. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1989 and was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of OU in 1993. Nancy studied classical ballet under Kay Sandel from age 6-18. She performed with Ballet Oklahoma as a sugar plum fairy in The Nutcracker at age 16. She also enjoyed the privilege of attending the Quartz Mtn. Summer Arts Institute in 1987 & 1989 under the direction of the New York Dance Master Richard Thomas. She married Greg Miller in June, 1993. She worked in the Physiology Dept. at OUHSC for two years. In 1997 she graduated with honors from OUHSC School of Physical Therapy and worked as a Physical Therapist at St. Anthony Hospital and Bone & Joint Hospital until April, 1999. Nancy was a shining light in the lives of her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, loving daughter and an inspiration to all who knew her. Nancy is preceded in death by her grandfather, Orval Billy. She is survived by her husband, Greg; parents, Dale and Deanna Billy; brother, Michael Billy; grandmother, Doris Billy of Ninnekah, OK; grandparents, Ray and Lois Todd of Chickasha, OK and her parents-in-law, Francis and Marie Oakes. A memorial service will be held at Our Lord's Community Church, 11400 N. Portland, OKC on Sat., May 6, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nancy Miller to Our Lord's Community Church, 11400 N.
