Carrie Ann [Hammons] McCaul

Funeral service for Mrs. Carrie Ann McCaul, 84, 317 Iowa, will be at 3:30 pm Thursday in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Cox of Ninnekah officiating.

She was born Oct. 4, 1891, in Clark County, Ark. She died this morning in a local nursing home. She had been in failing health for the past five years.

Mrs. McCaul and the late Jimmy McCaul were married Sept. 9, 1906, in Terrell, Indian Territory. They moved to Mangum and resided there until 1957, when they moved to Chickasha. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by three daughters and two sons.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Nannie Mae) Payne of Ninnekah; one son, Charles McCaul of Enid; three sisters, Mrs. Nance Wright of Benton, Ark.; Mrs. Ruby King of Dumas, Texas; Mrs. Edna Sally of California; two brothers, Jack Hammons of California and W. A. Hammons of Englewood, Colo.

Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
