William Haskell "Bill" Fields
April 7, 1870 ~ March 18, 1943


William Haskell Fields was born in Lee County, VA. He was the son of John and Emaline [Singleton] Fields.

William and family moved to Grady County, OK in about 1907.

He was married to Leona [Yeary] Fields Ward in 1899.

William died from drowning while fishing.

Eldridge Yeary "Ed" Fields
October 24, 1902 ~ December 11, 1995


Eldridge "Ed" was born in Lee County, Virginia and moved to Grady County Oklahoma in about 1907.

Ed married Lottie [Foster] Fields 1 August 1925 in Chickasha, OK. They had 4 children: Jack, Aileen "Sally", Georgia "Corky", Lyle "Pete".

Ed and Lottie & Family moved Gardena, CA in about 1940 where he 1st worked in the ship yards and then owned his Ironworks business.

He Retired in the late 60's and in 1975 he moved to Noble, OK.

Ed was avid outdoorsman and love to fish and hunt.

He remained very active until the last few years of his life.

Lyle Alton "Pete" Fields
September 24, 1932 ~ September 10, 2004


Lyle Alton "Pete" Fields of Gardena, California passed away September 10, 2004.

Pete was born in Alex, Okla. September 24, 1932. He was the son of Ed Fields and Lottie [Foster] Fields.

Pete moved to California with his parents at an early age.

He was a construction worker and retired in Gardena, California in 1997.

He was active at his local V.F.W. Pete served two tours of duty in the Korean War. He was awarded the Bronze Star; Korean Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother Jack Fields, sister Corky DeGuire; one nephew Dick DeGuire.

He is survived by one sister Aileen [Fields] Trent of Phillipsburg, Mo.; uncle, Bill Fields of California; aunt, Virginia Howard of Chickasha, Okla.; four nephews; one niece; five great nephews; two great nieces; one great great niece; two great great nephews and other relatives who will miss him very much.

Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, Saturday October 9, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. conducted by Bro. Kim Hayes.
