Graveside service for Wilma Blackburn, 77, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the Ninnekah Cemetery.

Wilma Blackburn was born November 26, 1927 at Binger, Oklahoma the daughter of Chesley and Viola [Wessen] Turner and died August 28, 2005 in Chickasha.

She was married to J. C. Blackburn on September 12, 1943 in Gracemont, Oklahoma. Mrs. Blackburn was a homemaker who devoted her live to loving and taking care of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: Her husband: J. C. Blackburn on March 5, 2005; 2 brothers: Jack Turner and Walter Turner; 2 sisters: Pearl Burnett and Odessa DuBois; Parents.

Survivors include: 2 daughters: Erlene Hatchett and husband Lavon of Chickasha; Kathy Prigmore and husband Jack of Chickasha; 1 son: Steve Blackburn and wife Gaye of Chickasha; 1 brother: L. D. Turner of Chickasha; 3 sisters: Georgia Hoselton of El Reno, Oklahoma; Betty Ingram of Okemah, Oklahoma; Bonnie Burnett of Chickasha; Grandchildren: Sherrie Hatchett, Jason Hatchett, Tammy Foley, Stephanie Baker and Clint Blackburn; 3 great grandchildren: Numerous nieces and nephews; 1 special sister-in-law: Onnie Turner of Chickasha.

Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
