John Floyd Bearden
July 13, 1901 ~ September 23, 1960


Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Brown funeral home chapel for John Floyd Bearden, 59, a longtime resident of the Bradley and Ninnekah communities.

Mr. Bearden died Friday in a Lawton hospital.

Officiating at the funeral was Rev John B. Shelton, pastor Frederick First Baptist church and nephew of Mrs Bearden.

Survivors included are the widow, Grace; a son, Billy Dye, of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Clyde Bearden of Bethany and Roy Bearden of Oklahoma City and two sisters, Mrs Lena Hibray of South Bend, Ind. and Mrs. Ruth Williams of Midwest City.

Burial was in the Ninnekah cemetery under direction of Brown funeral home.
