1884 ~ Feberuary 19, 1952


Mrs Edna Belle Baird, 67, 1206 Thompson, was pronounced dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital yesterday at 3:45 pm after she suffered a heart attack at her home.

She had been a resident of Borger for the past 10 years.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star in Loco, Okla.

Survivors include four daughters; Reba Baird, Borger; Mrs Charley Boswell, Ninnekah, Okla.; Mrs Otis Edwards, Chickasha, Okla.; Mrs Rance Auttonberry, Pioneer, La.; two sons; Tracy Baird, Borger; and W. H. Baird, Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 am Thursday in the chapel of the Minton Funeral Home with the Rev S.T. Aly, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Phillips, officiating.

Following the service, the body will be taken overland to Chickasha, Okla., where interment will be made under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.
