Johnny Logan Gorham

Services for Johnny Logan Gorham, 75, of Minco, will be held Friday, December 9, 2005 at 2 p.m.at the Hazel Dell Baptist Church NW of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. Rev. Eddie Critchfield of Southern Heights Baptist Church in El Reno will officiate.

Johnny Logan Gorham was born October 24, 1930 in rural Minco to Logan and Blanche (Grinstead) Gorham and he died Monday, December 5, 2005 at his home in Minco.

Burial will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery.

Funeral services for Johnny Logan Gorham, 75 of Minco will be held Friday, December 9, 2005 at 2 pm in Hazel Dell Baptist Church NW of Minco with Rev. Eddie Critchfield of Southern Heights Baptist Church in El Reno officiating.

Johnny Logan Gorham was born October 24, 1930 in rural Minco to Logan and Blanche (Grinstead) Gorham and he died Monday, December 5, 2005 at his home in Minco. He was born and raised in Minco and graduated Minco High School. He worked for Opitz Gin and Elevator in Binger as a truck driver for 28 years. He married Melva Joyce (Smith) Allen on October 25, 1979 in Wichita Fall, Texas. In July 2004 Johnny gave his life to Christ.

Johnny was preceded in death by parents: Logan and Blanche Gorham; one infant daughter: Michelle LeAnn Gorham; one infant son: Jimmie Don Gorham; two sisters: Alma Friedlan and Emma Jester; one brother: Virgil Gorham.

He is survived by wife and soul mate Melva Gorham of the home in Minco; three sons and one daughter-in-law: Fred Allen of Union City, Oklahoma; Doug and Lisa Allen of McCloud, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law: Tami and Monte Jones of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two brothers; two sisters: June Bartlett of Hinton, Quanah and Charlie Holkum of Chickasha; nine grandchildren; one great grandson.

Burial in Hazel Dell Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
