Roy Don Gan

Funeral services for Roy Don Gan, 49, of Minco will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Minco. Rev. David Mercer of Minco United Methodist Church will officiate.

Interment will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery Northwest of Minco.

Roy Don Gan was born on March 22, 1957 in Waynesville, Missouri to Roy Glenn Gan and Shirley Ann (Bartlett) Gan. He died on Monday, February 19, 2007 in a tragic car accident.

Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds funeral home of Minco.

Roy Don Gan and Johnathan Ray Gan

Funeral services for Roy Don Gan, 49 and Johnathan Ray Gan, 25 father and son, both of Minco were held on Saturday, February 24, 2007, 2 pm at the First Baptist Church in Minco with Rev. David Mercer of Minco United Methodist Church officiating.

Roy was born March 22, 1957 at Waynesville, Missouri to Roy Glenn Gan and Shirley Ann (Bartlett) Gan. Roy and Johnathan died Monday, February 19, 2007 in a tragic car accident, other son David still in ICU Presbyterian Hospital in OKC.

Roy had lived in the Minco-Cogar communities since 1993 coming from Choctaw. Roy married La Donna (McLaughlin) on May 28, 1976 at Glencoe, Oklahoma. Both Roy and Johnathan worked in concrete construction together, along with David, son in hospital.

Johnathan was born on April 10, 1981 at Oklahoma City to Roy Dan and La Donna Gan.

Survivors include: Wife and mother La Donna Gan of the home in Minco; two sons and brothers: David of the home in Minco and Michael and Tonya Gan of Minco; one daughter and sister: Michelle Gan of the home in Minco; three grandchildren and nieces and nephew: Blake Michael Gan, Ashley Dawn Gan and Mercedes Castro.

Roy's siblings: two brothers and sisters-in-law: Carl and Angela Gan of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Steven and Tammy Gan of Louisiana; six sisters and three brothers-in-law: Rose Ann and Roger Reed of Conway, Ark., Jettie Gan and Teresa Gan both of Branson, Missouri, Glenda Jean Gan of Lebanon, Missouri, Nancy and L. D. Asbil of Glencoe, OK, Elizabeth and Bobbie Roberson of Stillwell, OK.

Burial in Hazel Dell Cemetery, NW of Minco.
