Randall Earl Johnson

Graveside services and military honors for Randall Earl Johnson, 85, of Minco, were held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Friendship Cemetery southwest of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

Johnson was born April 7, 1923 at Jennylind, Ark. to Charles Henry and Janice [Copple] Johnson. He died Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Norman Veteran's Center.

Johnson moved from Eureka, Calif. back to Minco in the 1970s. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War as a Seaman First Class. He worked as a custodian for a school in Eureka, Calif. until his return to Minco. He enjoyed helping and participatiing at the Minco Senior Citizen's Center.

Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Allen, Elwood, Virgil and Clyde Johnson, and three sisters, Opal Ingram, Alice Mitchum and Beulah McCartney.

He is survived by a sister, Betty Jo Sparks of Twin Falls, Idaho and many nieces and nephews.
