Hazel I. [Wellmaker] Hensley

Funeral services for Hazel Hensley, 78, of Minco were held Saturday, January 24, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at the Canaan Baptist Church, Northwest of Minco. Rev. Curtis Robertson of the Canaan Baptist Church officiated.

She was born December 20, 1925 at Millwood, Oklahoma to Roy and Amy Lee (Chapman) Wellmaker and died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Oklahoma City. Hazel married James "Cliff" Hensley on September 18, 1946 at Chickasha. She came to Minco to settle in 1976 from California. Hazel was a homemaker and a very active in her church. Hazel was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church of Minco.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Amy Lee Wellmaker; one sister: Joy Garrett; one brother: Glen Dale Wellmaker; one brother-in-law: Roy Stanley; one sister-in-law: Dottie Wellmaker.

Hazel is survived by: Husband: James "Cliff" of the home in Minco; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jim and Beth Hensley of Raleigh, North Carolina, Gary and Cheryl Hensley of Camarillo, California; three brothers: LeRoy Wellmaker of Oklahoma City, JBob and Tommie Wellmaker of Tishomingo, Wesley Wayne Wellmaker of California; two sisters: Helen Stanley of California, Shirley and Bob Sowash of Oregon; one brother-in-law: Elmer Garrett of Tuttle; one sister-in-law: Leslie Wellmaker of California; six grandchildren: James Quinton Hensley III, Tiffany Hensley and Jennifer Hensley of Raleigh, North Carolina, Gary Steven Hensley II, Christina Hensley, and Hilary Hensley of Camarillo, California.

Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, Southwest of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
