Minnie Reynolds
June 27, 1860 ~ January 1937


Mrs Minnie Reynolds was born in Kentucky June 27, 1860.

She came to Texas in 1882 where she married Samuel H. Green and they had 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 sons of which 2 daughters passed away in infancy.

In 1910, she married Rueben F. Reynolds at Amarillo, TX, who passed away July 8, 1918 at Hennessy, OK.

She moved to Tuttle in 1929.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs Hazel Busby of Hawthorne, Calif., 2 sons, R.F. Green and C.H. Green of Tuttle, 2 sisters, Mrs Hannah Copeland of Tuttle, and Mrs Senie Dennis of St Joe, TX.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Tuttle with Rev Moss Weaver.

Interment was in Tuttle Cemetery with the H.E. Sowers Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Willis Dello Reynolds
September 11, 1866 ~ September 3, 1935


W.D. Reynolds of OKC, passed away at his home Monday morning as a result of paralytic stroke.

He moved with his family to this community from Chickasha in 1920 and lived here until 1930 when he moved to Oklahoma City.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday with Rev Frank W. Sprague.

Pall bearers were: Ray Lutz, E.B. Martin and 2 other Brother Masons of Oklahoma City, W.M. Callahan & Al Rieder.

Survivers include, his widow, 3 sons, Tom of Tuttle, Ector & Dixie of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, D.G. & M.E. of Oklahoma City, and a sister, Mrs Donnie Duford of Arizona.

Willis Dello Reynolds
September 11, 1866 ~ September 3, 1935


Willis Dello Reynolds was born in Parker County, TX September 11, 1866 and passed away at the family home, 50th and Prospect, Oklahoma City, on September 2, 1935 at the age of 68 yrs, 11 mo, 21 days.

He married Mary Van Dora Green on August 13, 1891 and they had 5 children, all of whom are still living.

Mr & Mrs Reynolds lived in Tuttle from 1918 to 1930 when they moved to Oklahoma City.

He is survived by his wife and the children who are; Leonard of the home, Bessie Murphy of Choctaw, Tom of Tuttle, Dixie of Oklahoma City, & Rector of OKC, 2 brothers, D.G. & M.E. of Oklahoma City and Mrs Donnie Duford of Arizona.

Burial was in the Tuttle cemetery.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Sunday for Mrs Dora Reynolds with Rev W.H. Bruce.

Pallbearers were: H. L. McCracken, Russell Hambleton, Joe Hartin, J. W. Callahan, B. M. Douglas, & Stevie Chenoweth.

She died at her home in OKC Friday night at the age of 73.

She leaves 5 children; C.L. Reynolds, Mrs Murphy, Dixie Reynolds, all of OKC, M.E. Reynolds of Norman, & Tom Reynolds of Tuttle.

Carl Leonard "Gypo" Reynolds
October 9, 1892 ~ February 21, 1973


C.L. "Gypo" Reynolds, 80, a former Oklahoma City Resident, died Wednesday at Grady Memorial hospital in Chickasha.

Services will be at 3:30pm Friday at Sevier Funeral Home in Tuttle with burial in Fairview cemetery in Tuttle.

A native of Cornish, Reynolds came to Oklahoma City in 1911 and moved to Tuttle in 1964 and to Chickasha in 1968.

He retired in 1964, after 18 years with the Oklahoma City Parks department and was a dirt contractor.

He was a member of the Trinity Baptist church in Chickasha.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Jacquline Fuzzell of Oklahoma City, 3 brothers, T. L. of Tuttle, B. F. of 1325 NE 50, & M. E. of Norman, and a sister, Mrs Bessie Murphy of Chickasha.

Charles Reynolds
July 3, 1896 ~ April 1919


Death of Mr Chas Reynolds

This community was saddened Saturday evening when a message was received stating that Mr Chas Reynolds had been seriously injured by coming in contact with a live wire while at his work in Eldorado, Kansas.

A later message told of his death at the hospital in Wichita, Kansas at two o'clock Sunday Morning.

The remains were brought to Tuttle Monday, where funeral services were held from the Christian Church by Rev McGirk, the pastor.

Mr Reynolds was 24 years of age and was the older son of Mrs Frank Henley of Amber.

Besides his mother he leaves to mourn his loss two sisters, Misses Dovie and Thelma, one brother, Frnk, a stepfather and a host of friends.

The many beautiful floral offerings attest the high esteem in which the young man was held.

We extend deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

Dixie F. "Dick" Reynolds
August 7, 1899 ~ May 1, 1991


D. F. "Dick" Reynolds was born August 7, 1899 near Butcherknife, Indian Territory, approximately 6 miles southwest of what is now Ringling, OK. The family moved to a farm north of Chickasha in 1908, then later to a farm south of Tuttle, where he graduated from high school.

He was preceded in death in 1982 by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Flora Simmons Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, whose loving company he enjoyed since their marriage in 1983, son, T. Don of OKC, son, Dale of Norman, daughter, Doris Reynolds Ewing of Pueblo, CO, 10 grandchildren, & 9 great grandchildren.

He retired from Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company in 1964, after 42 years of service.

He was a charter member of Christ United Methodist church in OKC and attended faithfully until moving to Tuttle, where he was a member of the Tuttle United Methodist church.

A man once said, "I believe Dick Reynolds knew more people than any man I ever knew".

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sevier funeral home of Tuttle. Service will be at 3:30pm, Saturday, May 4, 1991, at the Tuttle United Methodist church with burial at Fairview cemetery in Tuttle.

Flora Mae [Simmons] Reynolds

Funeral services for Flora Mae Reynolds were held Tuesday, December 28, 1982, at the Tuttle United Methodist church with Rev Ora Compton assisted by Rev Rick Cato.

Flora Mae Reynolds, 80, of Route 1, Blanchard, died December 24, 1982 in Grady Memorial hospital, Chickasha, after a suden illness.

She was born June 15, 1902 in Branson, MO to Charles & Della Lila Simmons.

She graduated from O.C.W. in 1926 and taught at Gatlin public schools.

She married Dick Reynolds in Norman, OK, January 2, 1924.

She was a member of the Christ United Methodist church, Oklahoma City and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She moved to Grady county in 1974 from Oklahoma City.

Survivors include her husband, Dick, 2 sons, T. Donald Reynolds of Oklahoma City and Dale Reynolds of Norman, 1 daughter, Mrs Doris Ewing of Pueblo, Colo, 2 sisters, Eva Davidson of Tuttle and Maude Davis of Tuttle, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, directed by Brown-Binyon Funeral Home, Chickasha.

Sophia Catherine [Miller] Reynolds

Services for Sophia Catherine Reynolds, 84, of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held Friday, September 21, 1990, at the Tuttle Christian Church. Mr Carl Polsey of the Christ Christian Church in Oklahoma City officiated.

Sophia Catherine Reynolds was born August 28, 1906, in Cass County, Cedar Creek, Nebraska, and died Tuesday, September 18, 1990, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Mrs Reynolds was a member of First Christian Church.

She moved from Cedar Creek to Tuttle with her parents at the age of 2 ½.

She and Thomas L. Reynolds were married in Tuttle, September 12, 1925. They farmed south of Tuttle for over 50 years, retiring in 1970.

Mr Reynolds preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by: her parents, George and Maggie Miller; one daughter Opal Winona Reynolds; two brothers, George and Phillip Miller; and one sister Elizabeth Clark.

Survivors included: three daughters, Geneva Boyer of Tuttle, OK., Bettie Base of Tuttle, OK., and Deloris Rodgers of Cement, OK.; one son Dellow Reynolds of Victorville, Ca.; 12 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Interment was at the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Donald Reynolds, 68, of Oklahoma City, were held August 11, 1993, in the chapel of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle. Rev Richard Girkin officiated.

Donald was born December 14, 1924 to Dixie & Flora Mae Reynolds, in Tuttle, and died Saturday, August 7, 1993, in Mercy hospital.

Donald lived most of his life in Oklahoma City.

He was a quality control supervisor for the U.S. Postal service.

He served in the Navy during World War II. He also was a Mason and belonged to the Eastern Star.

Survivors include 4 daughter, Paula Mullenix, Cherry Goodard, Dona Gilmor, & Sharla Orcutt, all of Oklahoma City, 1 son, Pete Reynolds of Oklahoma City, 1 sister, Doris Ewing of Pueblo, CO, 1 brother, Dale Reynolds of Norman, 5 grandchildren, and Jerre Kathleen Sultan of the home.

Interment was in Fairview cemetry, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle.

Opal Winona Reynolds was born September 5, 1930 at Tuttle and passed away 11/16/1934 at her home. She had been ill for 2 weeks. Interment was at Fairview cemetery.

Little Opal Winona, 4 year old daughter of Mr & Mrs Tom Reynolds, passed away November 16 after a peculiar illness of 2 weeks duration. The malady was believed to be dyptheria.

On this account, only a simple service at the cemetery after interment was thought advisable, with Rev W.F. Sprague.

Funeral service for Dellow David Reynolds, 65, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at the Tuttle Christian Church.

Dellow David Reynolds was born May 18, 1936, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, the son of Thomas Lee Reynolds and Catherine Sophia [Miller] Reynolds, and died Sunday, March 10, 2002, in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Mr Reynolds lived in Tuttle most of his life. He and Rita Howell were married December 28, 1986, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mr. Reynolds drove a truck for 31 years for LeWay, Transcon and P.I.E. and was currently driving a school bus for Tuttle Public Schools.

He served in the National Guard 5th Infantry.

Mr Reynolds was a member of the Teamsters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Opal Wynona Reynolds.

Survivors include: his wife: Rita Reynolds, of the home; 3 daughters: Kelly Reynolds, of Houston, Texas, Vicky Munden, of Douglasville, Georgia, Teresa Hernandez, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; 2 sons: Jason Reynolds, of Savannah, Georgia, Duane Brewer, of Dallas, Georgia; 3 sisters: Geneva Boyer, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Delores Rodgers, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Betty Base, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren: Christopher Brewer, Sarah Brewer, Joey Brewer, Tyler Ross, Cheyenne Munden, Kayla Hernandez, and Michael Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St Jude's Hospital in memory of Dellow Reynolds, in care of Tuttle Middle School.

Rita Kay Howell Reynolds
September 13, 1947 ~ December 20, 2013


Rita Kay Howell Reynolds was born September 13, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas to J. D. Howell and Alma Inez Treadaway.

She passed away December 20, 2013 in Wellston, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

Rita was a big hearted person that would give away her last dollar if someone else was in need. She loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger. Often she spent time in ministry on the phone with her sister Pat Phillips and brother-in-law Ronnie Phillips.

While driving a school bus she found children in need and provided them with those necessities such as a warm coat, some candy, and even passes to White Water where she occasionally enjoyed a water slide with those children.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dellow Reynolds; and brother, Jerry Howell.

Survivors include her children, Duane Brewer and his wife Susan of Dallas, Georgia; Vicky and her husband Stephen Morrow of Columbia, Tennessee; Teresa Hernandez and Jim Bryant; seven grandchildren, Chris, Sara, and Joey Brewer, Tyler Ross, Cheyenne Munden, Kayla and Michael Hernandez; sisters, Connie Leverich of Wellston, Oklahoma; Pat Phillips of Blairsville, Georgia; brother, Gary Howell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her best friend Jody Crabtree; and her two little dogs, Tiger and Gracie Mae.

Funeral services will be held at Tuttle First Assembly of God Church on 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.

Services are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
