Funeral arrangements for Charley Watson, 69, of Chickasha, are pending with Ferguson Funeral Home.

Charley Watson was born February 17, 1936. He died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at his home in Chickasha.

Memorial services for Charley Watson, Jr., 69, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Charley Watson, Jr. was born February 17, 1936, in Chickasha. He died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at his home in Chickasha.

There will be no viewing or visitation before the service.

Private interment will be held in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Charles Jet "Charley" Watson Jr

Memorial services for Charley Watson, Jr., 69, of Chickasha, will be held Monday, August 15, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Hatfield officiating.

Watson was born February 17, 1936, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Charley J. Watson and Mary Bertha Murray Watson. He died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at his home in Chickasha.

He grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public Schools graduating in 1954. After high school graduation he attended Oklahoma University, in Norman for a year and returned to Chickasha where he was employed with his father and uncle in the Watson Brother's Plumbing Business. He later purchased the business in 1974, and it became Watson's Plumbing, where he was the owner and operator until his retirement in 2000 due to health problems.

He had also owned and operated the Plaza North Shopping Center and the Watson Mobile Home Park.

Charley loved to hunt and fish, especially deep sea fishing near Galveston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, of the home; one stepson and his wife, Scott and Lori Raczynski, of Rapid City, South Dakota; one stepdaughter and her husband, Ann and Greg Schmidt, of Reno, Nevada; one brother, Harold Watson, of Oklahoma City; five step grandchildren, Cassie and Emily Raczynski, Sheri Kendall, Samantha Raczynski and Grace Schmidt.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, at 5601 NW 72nd suite 124, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.

Private interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
