In Loving Memory of Harold Dean Thompson

Harold Dean Thompson entered into this life on Tuesday, September 12, 1933 in Grady County, Oklahoma to Antone J. and Myrtle E. [Grimes] Thompson and entered into eternal rest with his loving family by side on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 21 days.

Harold attended and graduated from Pioneer Schools in Grady County and later married Idella Sue Lane on April 21, 1962 in Pampa, Texas.

Harold retired from Cameron iron Work and was owner and operator of Chickasha Tool and Maintenance. Harold and Sue moved to Marshall County, Oklahoma in 2000 from Chickasha. Harold enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Those loved ones left to cherish Harold's memory is his loving and dedicated wife of 48 plus years Sue Thompson of the home; children Rex Thompson and wife Rita of Duncan, OK, Dennis Thompson of Duncan, OK, Darrell Thompson and wife Pam of Ninnekah, OK and Melinda Wilkinson of Kingston, OK; grandchildren Dennis Thompson Jr. of Duncan, OK, Russell Thompson of Norman, OK, Jaime Wilkinson of Kingston, OK, Chris Thompson of Guthrie, OK and Tammi Ikard Smith of Chickasha, OK; 7 great grandchildren and numerous other extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate Harold's life will be held at 10:00 AM on March 8, 2012 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Charles Garner will officiate. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM at Fair Lawn Cemetery in Chickasha, Oklahoma with Kirby Sheperd, Earl Livingston, Timmy Hammon, Glendell Parrish, Don Powers and Bill Priddy serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Garner and James Ince.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your Church of Charity of your choice.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com. Services are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service, Durant.
