Funeral services for Duwayne E. Renouf, 88, of Iowa Park, Texas, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday October 7, 2005, in the Parkview Christian Church.

Duwayne E. Renouf was born May 26, 1917, in Enon Valley, Pennsylvania. He died October 4, 2005 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Duwayne Eugene Renouf

Funeral services for Duwayne E. Renouf, 88, of Iowa Park, Texas, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2005, in the Parkview Christian Church with Jerl Joslin and David Woods officiating.

Duwayne was born May 26, 1917, in Enon Valley, Pennsylvania, the son of Earnest Renouf and Florence (Jewel) Renouf. He died October 4, 2005 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He came to Chickasha in 1979. He worked as a machinist, a piano technician, and he reworked and rebuilt antique furniture, pianos, and organs.

He and Helen [Fuller] Renouf were married June 5, 1983, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2002. They were married for 19 years.

Duwayne had a passion for music, although he couldn't read music, he played the piano, trumpet, banjo, and other musical instruments. He sang with the Barber Shoppers and in the church choir for many years.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of York and Scottish Rite, and was a member of Parkview Christian Church.

He and Helen moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 2000.

Duwayne was preceded in death by his wife; both parents; and two brothers.

He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law: Joan and John Conway, of West Fork, Arkansas; Darlene Clay, of Iowa Park, Texas; Charlotte and Fred Hamilton of Conroe, Texas; and Diana and Fred Peterson, of Pekin, Illinois; one son and daughter-in-law: Beryl and Julie Renouf, of Meriden, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 3 1/2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Teen Challenge Columbus Girls Academy, 14 Motts Drive, Seale, Alabama 36875, in the name of Brittany LaMirand.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
