© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma October 17, 2003 August 13, 1930 ~ October 16, 2003 Graveside service for Katherine Marie "Peggy" Pendleton, 73, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2003, at the Fairlawn Cemetery. Katherine Marie "Peggy" Pendleton was born August 13, 1930, in Paden, Oklahoma, the daughter of Tom and Jesse Mae (Smith) Munsey, and died October 16, 2003, in Chickasha. She and John R. Carpenter were married, and he preceded her in death. She later married Arthur Pendleton on May 17, 1974. Mrs. Pendleton lived in Folsom, California, before retiring and moving to Chickasha in 1996. She was also preceded in death by: 1 son: John Roy Carpenter, Jr.; 1 brother: Connie Munsey. Survivors include: husband, Arthur Pendleton of the home; 3 daughters: Kathy Harris and husband, Clyde, of Chickasha, Ruby Davis of Chickasha, Betty Alder and husband, Shaun, of Moore; 2 sisters: Lilly Bennett of Chickasha, Selda and Lou Garcia of Texas; 1 brother, Melvin and Vicky Bishop of Yukon; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
