Donald Ray O'Briant
July 19, 1933 ~ November 19, 2016


Funeral service for Donald Ray O'Briant, age 83 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in the Calvary Baptist Church. Bro. Chuck Patterson will officiate assisted by Bro. Kim Hayes.

Donald Ray O'Briant went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 19, 2016 with his family at his side.

Don was born in Lookeba, Oklahoma on July 19, 1933.

After high school, Don attended Okmulgee Tech for two years then entered the United States Army.

After his military service, Don worked the family farm all his life. He taught Sunday School for over fifty years and loved taking care of the Senior Saints. His greatest passion was for Missions and winning the lost for the cause of Christ. Don knew the Lord as his personal savior. He was a very active member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Maxine of fifty years; parents Ray and Dessie O'Briant; one grandson Kris Bates.

Survivors include his children: Grant Aldridge and wife Rhonda of Oklahoma City; Donita Bates and husband Jerry of Bartlesville; Gary Aldridge and wife Donna of Chickasha; April Bevill and husband Mike of Chickasha; Brady O'Briant and wife Nina of Chickasha; twenty grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one brother Albert O'Briant and wife Betty; one sister Opal Capshew; numerous family and friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donate to Calvary Baptist Missions, P. O. Box 822, Chickasha, OK 73023.

Gloria Maxine [Robison] O'Briant
February 18, 1940 ~ September 28, 2016


Funeral service for Gloria Maxine O'Briant age 76 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Calvary Baptist Church. Brother Chuck Patterson will officiate and Brother Kim Hayes will assist.

Gloria Maxine O'Briant went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 with her family at her side.

Maxine was born on February 18, 1940 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Maxine spent her time investing in her children's life and working along side her husband on the family farm. Maxine was kind, nurturing, and loving to all she met. Most of all she was a Godly lady that knew Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Taylor and Theda Robison; her step father, Robbie Robison; two sons, Ray and Scott Aldridge; one grandson, Kris Bates.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Donald Ray O'Briant of the home; her children, Grant Aldridge and wife Rhonda of Oklahoma City, Donita Bates and husband Jerry of Bartlesville, Gary Aldridge and wife Donna of Chickasha, April Bevill and husband Mike of Chickasha, Brady O'Briant and wife Nina of Chickasha; twenty grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
