July 18, 1943 ~ October 3, 2003


Funeral service for Robert K. "Bob" King, 60 of Piedmont, Oklahoma will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2003, in Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha.

Robert K. "Bob" King was born July 18, 1943, in Olustee, Oklahoma. He was the son of Kenneth K. and Ila Mae [Bradley] King. He died Friday, October 3, 2003, in Oklahoma City.

Mr. King had lived in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1962.

He and Patricia Baty were married June 30, 1963.

Mr. King Served in the U.S. Army in 1966 and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He had worked for Southwestern Bell in Chickasha before going to the service.

After returning he lived in Moore and Oklahoma City were he worked for Southwestern Bell from 1968 until 1984 were he was a Data Tech Supervisor.

In 1985 he started King Communication which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife Patricia King of the home in Piedmont, one son: John King of Piedmont; two sisters: Peggy Foster and her husband Donald; Betty Lovell and her husband Jim; several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
