May 18, 1918 ~ February 19, 2005


Graveside service for Kathryn W. B. Griffin, 86, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Kathryn W. B. Griffin was born May 18, 1918 in Minco, Oklahoma the daughter of William and Elda [Whittaker] Burmeister and died February 19, 2005 in Chickasha.

Mrs. Griffin worked for Montgomery Wards and Pool Mortgage Company as a bookkeeper. She later worked at Maremont [Arvin Meritor].

Survivors include one son and his wife, Troy and Donna Griffin of Chickasha; four sisters, Ann and Roy Hooper of Chickasha, Erma Joe and Joe Daniels of Enid, Oklahoma, Eilene Hoover of Stringtown, Oklahoma, Jean and Shorty Stringer of Sacramento, California; one brother, Jack and Jo Burmeister; grandchildren, Gary Lee and Priscilla Griffin of Hawaii, Gary Don and Lillian Woodall of North Vernon, Indiana; and one great grandchild, Craig Allen Griffin of Reno, Nevada.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
