ELLIOTT SERVICE TO BE TUESDAY

Last rites for Matthew Elliott, 1109 South Eighth, will be conducted at 10 am Tuesday in Brown Funeral Home chapel with Msgr. Gavan Monaghan officiating.

Mr. Elliott died early Sunday morning at the age of 87.

He came to Grady County in 1912 from Texhoma. He was engaged in farming for 35 years west of Pocasset until he retired 10 years ago.

A member of Holy Name Catholic Church, he is survived by his wife, Minnie; three sons, J. A. of Chickasha, Jim of Turlock, Calif.; and Fred of Alex; one daughter, Mrs. Floy Baker, Lindsay; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
