Esther Lee Brown

Funeral or Esther L. Brown, 83, of Chickasha, will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Cement. Rev Paul Kelly will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home.

She was born December 27, 1923 in Reisel, Texas. She died on July 18, 2007 in Chickasha.

She was married to Arthur W. Brown in 1971 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was formerly married to Jose Jacobs Sr.

She worked at USAO as a dietician and retired after 25 years. She was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Cement, Oklahoma. She graduated from public schools in Cement, Oklahoma.

Survivors include, Husband, Arthur Brown of Chickasha; children: Betty Jo Jacobs of Chickasha; Jo Ann Sanders of Colorado; sisters: Olivia McDowell of Cement; Jean Reece of Cement; Lorene Smith, Freda Howard, Alyce Franklin, all of Lawton; brothers: William Craine of Duncan; Sanford Craine of Austin, Texas.

Friends may call at Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 23, 12 to 6pm.
