Funeral services for Delores F. Sims, 60, of Chickasha, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at the Minco Assembly of God Church.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco.

She was born July 8, 1944 in Minco and died August 19, 2004 in Chickasha.

Delores Faye [Ransome] Sims

Funeral services for Delores Faye Sims, 60, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at the Minco Assembly of God Church, with Wes Warren officiating.

Delores F. Sims was born July 7, 1944, in Minco, Oklahoma, the daughter of Rex M. Ransome and Beulah Eveline Ingram. She died Thursday, August 19, 2004, in Chickasha.

Delores grew up in Minco and attended Minco Public Schools. During her lifetime she had been employed with Braum's, Oklahoma Brick Company, certified in childcare, and most recently as a housekeeper with the Days Inn.

She was a member of the Minco Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Ransome and brother, Bill Ransome.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law; Debbie and Steven Thorp of Germany, Dawna Balke of Chickasha, Diana and Bryan Lynn of Plano, Texas; one son, Darrell and Hope Stewart of Chickasha; mother, Beulah Craddock Bennett of Minco; four brothers and sisters-in-law; Marvin and Erma Ransome, Gerald Ransome, Edwin and Nancy Ransome, and Terry and Mary Ransome; three sisters and brothers-in-law; Bernadean and Roy Ware, Glenda and Russell Canary, and Sharon and Dale Crim; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and expecting a third great grandchild.

Interment will be in the Minco Cemetery, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
