Jo Ann [Abney] Pinkston
November 23, 1921 ~ March 3, 2020


Graveside services for Jo Ann Pinkston, 88, of Minco, were held on Monday, March 8, 2010, 2:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco. Jim Ross officiating.

Jo Ann was born November 23, 1921, in Wilmington, N. C. to Benjamin Earl and Willie Mae Abney.

She died Thursday, March 3, 2020 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Jo Ann [Abney] Pinkston

Graveside services for Jo Ann Pinkston, 88, of Minco were held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco.

Jo Ann Pinkston was born Nov. 23, 1921 in Wilmington NC to Benjamin Earl and Willie Mae Abney. She died on Thursday, March 3, 2010 at Merch Health Center in Oklahoma City.

Jo Ann married Earl O'Dell "Pinkey" Pinkston on Oct. 20, 1946 in Kingfisher and has lived in Minco since 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Minco.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl on Jan. 1, 2000 and a brother, Homer Lee Abney.

She is survived by daughters Earla Cannon and Sherry Dees, both of Minco, grandchildren Paul Cannon, Philip Cannon, Christy Cannon, B.J. Dees and Danny Dees, great grandchildren Aireal Cannon, Devon Cannon, Jacob Zigler, Averly Cannon, Sophia Cannon and Malachi Zigler, step great grandchildren Mary Horn, Michelle Bartley, Wyatt Killman, Destiny Madden and Divis Killman, and nieces, Brenda Pate and Glennette Jaques, both of Hinton.
