Graveside services for Jerald Douglas Oakley, 64, former Frederick resident, will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007, 2pm at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Rev. David Mercer. Under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Jerald Douglas Oakley was born May 1, 1942 in Frederick to John H. and Juletta [Pilcher] Oakley.

He died Monday, March 26, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Jerald Douglas Oakley

Graveside services for Jerald Douglas Oakley, 64 former Frederick resident, were held on Saturday, March 31, 2007, 2 pm at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco with Rev. David Mercer officiating under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Jerald Douglas Oakley was born May 1, 1942 at Frederick to John H. and Juletta [Pilcher] Oakley and died Monday, March 26, 2007 at VA Medical Center in OKC.

He grew up in Hollister, Oklahoma moved to Frederick as a senior and graduated from Frederick High School in 1960.

He joined the United States Navy and served in Vietnam.

Jerald later made his home in the Dallas area and worked as a custom carpenter for many years. He most recently moved to OKC and Yukon area and was a 32nd degree Mason.

Jerald was preceded in death by his father: John H. Oakley and a brother-in-law: Glen Ellis.

He is survived by: His mother Juletta Oakley of Minco; One daughter: Audra E. Oakley of Dallas; Two sisters: Janet and Larry Gossett of Minco and Judy B. Ellis of Oklahoma City; Three nieces and one nephew.
