May 5, 1911 ~ July 11, 2002


Funeral services for Edna Fay Coy, 91, of Minco, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Minco Assembly of God Church. Rev. Wes Warren, of Minco Assembly of God, will officiate.

Edna Fay Coy was born May 5, 1911, in Montague County, Texas, and died on Thursday, July 11, 2002, in El Reno, Okla.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, of Minco.

Edna Fay [Morris] Coy
May 5, 1911 ~ July 11, 2002


Services for Edna Fay Coy, 91 of Minco were held Saturday, July 13 at 2 p.m., at the Minco Assembly of God Church with Rev. Wes Warren of the Minco Assembly of God Church officiating.

She was born May 5, 1911 in Montague County, Texas to James William and Ida Lee ]Pleasant] Morris. She died Thursday, July 11, 2002 at El Reno.

Mrs. Coy moved back to the Minco community in 1974 from Weatherford, she married Thomas Ezra "Joe" Coy on October 12, 1932 at Custer City, Okla.

Edna was a homemaker and a member of the Minco Assembly of God Church where she was also involved in women1s ministries and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Ida Morris; her husband of 66 years, Thomas Ezra "Joe" Coy; one son, Leon Coy; one brother, Ruffie Morris; and six sisters, Clara Thompson, Nina Holand, Lessie Oliver, Jimmie Oliver, Beulah Mullens, and Jessie Buchanan.

She is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Barbara Coy of Minco; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco.
