© Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, March 2, 1961 April 29, 1888 ~ March 2, 1961 Mrs. Myrtle Lee Cox, 72, of Minco, died about 5 am today in a Chickasha rest home, following a long illness. Mrs. Cox was born April 29, 1888, in Missouri. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Cox, Minco; one son, Orlie Cox, Fountain, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Hayward Walker, 908 South 16th, and Mrs. John Crow, Minco; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Frank Washam, Yuba City, Calif; Ray Washam, Los Angeles, and Art Washam, Ponca City. The funeral will be at 3:30 pm, Friday at the Minco First Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Denny, minister of the church, will officiate. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Reynolds Funeral Home. |
