Leta Faye [Holmes] Carrell
February 16, 1927 ~ March 24, 2005


Services for Leta Faye Carrell, 78m of Minco will be held Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Minco.

Officiating will be Rev. Sam Scott and Chaplain Johnny Wray.

Leta Fay Carrell was born February 16, 1927 at Alex to Edward and Effie Mae [Sharp] Holmes and died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at her home in Minco.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Funeral services for Leta Faye Carrell, 78 of Minco were held Monday, March 28, 2005, 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Minco with Rev. Sam Scott and Chaplin Johnny Wray.

Leta Faye Carrell was born February 16, 1927 at Alex to Edward and Effie Mae (Sharp) Holmes and died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at her home in Minco. She lived in the Minco community most all of her life. She married Glenn Carrell on July 24, 1946 in Shamrock, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of the Minco Assembly of God Church. Leta was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Effie Mae Holmes; three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband Glenn of the home in Minco; one daughter and son-in-law Glennetta and Melvin Gore of Minco; three sons and one daughter-in-law Ricky and Tonya Carrell of Minco, Gary Carrell of Palms Springs, California, Jimmie Carrell of Yukon; two sisters Bonnie Reed of Minco and Hazel Briscoe of Medford, Oregon; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
