Rush Springs: Robert Wayne Taylor, 66, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hale officiating.

Burial will be in the Carnes Family Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Robert was born Sunday, January 18, 1948 in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Richard and Helen [Raper] Taylor.

Robert graduated from high school in Oklahoma City.

He served his county as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

Robert lived in Prague prior to moving to Rush Springs in 1996. On May 30, 2006 he married Deborah Crabb.

Robert loved to read, watch car shows, and rebuild cars. He was an all round "tinkerer" who could fix about anything. Robert also enjoyed cooking and hunting. His favorite passtime was fishing with his good friend Joe.

Robert accepted Christ and was saved in November of 1991. He was a member of Vimy Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include, wife, Deborah Taylor of the home, two sons, Darrin Raines and wife Rhonda of Paden, Oklahoma, Eric Raines of Maud, three daughters, Jessica Cogburn and husband Dewayne of Cement, Jaclyn Fox and husband Chris of Rush Springs, Lana Blackburn of the home, 12 grandchildren, Makense, Cameron, Katelyn, Kimberly, Kourtney, Hunter, Caselyn, Denali, Destry, Skyler, Logan, Max, and also one on the way, brother, Raymond Taylor and with Carolyon of Paden, two sisters, Marie Woolsey of Oklahoma City, Melinda Beel and husband James of Prague, numerous nieces and nephews, and very close friend, Joe Delk.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Taylor and sister, Maryann Martinez.

Pallbearers will be: Darrin Raines, Eric Raines, Larry Crabb, Gregg Eads, Chris Fox, and Tommy Jordan.
