Francis Duane Smith
November 5, 1952 ~ June 23, 2012


Tuttle: Francis Duane Smith, 59, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Oklahoma City.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Bailey Cemetery with Rev. David Woods officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Duane was born Wednesday, November 5, 1952 in Marlow, OK, to Francis Albert and Joye (Suitor) Smith . He graduated from Rush Springs High School and had recently moved to Tuttle after spending most of his lifetime in Rush Springs. Duane worked for H-6 Trucking as a Truck Driver. On December 22, 1970, Duane married Debbie Graham in Dallas, Texas. He later married Donna Isbell in Oklahoma City on February 14, 1990.

Duane was an avid Harley rider and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed driving his truck and riding horses. Duane could work on and fix most anything. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. Duane was a member of Glory Bound Church in Marlow.

Survivors include, three daughters, Casey Joye Pruett of Jewett, Texas, Allison Taylor Smith of Centerville, Texas, and Kiaja Raylynn Smith of Tuttle, son, Glendon Shawn Smith of Marlow, eight grandchildren, Colby Duane, McKenzie, Tyler, Ricki, Lillian, Kaydi, Caden, and Jace Riley, brother, Gerald Smith of Duncan, and sister, Cathy Kuntz of Marlow, numerous nieces and nephews, and many loving friends

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Duane Smith, daughter, Natalie Jade Smith, brother, Terry Smith, and sister, Cindy Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
