Olen Dale Mosier
February 16, 1933 ~ September 30, 2009


Funeral services for Olen Dale Mosier, 76, of Amber, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009, in the Amber First Baptist Church with Reverend Jon Judd officiating.

Dale was born the son of Myrl and Ruth Mosier on February 16, 1933, in Meeker, Oklahoma. He passed away September 30, 2009, in Pocasset, Oklahoma.

He married Bobbie Knight on February 28, 1959. She preceded him in death in February of this year.

He was a member of the Amber First Baptist Church; he was active in Amber civic affairs and an avid Am-Po sports fan.

Dale served in the U.S. Army for four years, serving three of those years in Germany. He was preceded in death by both parents; his wife of 50 years, Bobbie Mosier; and one brother, Wayne Mosier. He leaves behind four sons and daughters-in-law: David and Donna Mosier, of Norman, Kent Mosier, of Hominy, Greg Mosier, of Amber, and Keith and Barbara Mosier , of Chickasha; sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Jimmy Elliott, of Chickasha; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; special friend, Sue Group; and long time best friend, Kenneth Morrison.

Interment will be in the Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
