Paul Edward Kuykendall

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Pocasset, Oklahoma.

Paul Edward Kuykendall of Amber, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Amber on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the age of 71. Paul was born July 22, 1949 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Eugene and Effie Louise [Cottrel] Kuykendall.

He grew up in Amber and attended Amber schools. He married Diane Shelton on May 9, 1969 and on May 29, 1969 he entered the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War until May of 1972.

Paul lived in Amber area for 32 years and worked for the U.S. Postal Service out of Oklahoma City working nights. He retired in 2013 after 30 years of employment. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Effie Kuykendall; and two brothers, Cliff and Kenneth Kuykendall.

Paul is survived by his wife Diane Kuykendall; Daughters: Misti Zerger and husband Jonathan; and Angie Savage and husband Rusty; Grandchildren: Brandon Miracle, Ashley Miracle, Carley Savage, Ryan Zerger and Reese Savage; Sisters: Joan Hinkle and Gwendolyn Putman; Brothers: Galvin Kuykendall, Jerry Kuykendall, Glen Kuykendall, James Kuykendall, and Jimmy Kuykendall.

Interment will be in the Amber Cemetery, Amber, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma.
