April 9, 1957 ~ June 13, 2001


Funeral services for Polly Smith Herron, 44, of Amber, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2001 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Polly Smith Herron was born April 9, 1957, in Portales New Mexico, the daughter of Wesley and Alma [Boggess] Smith and died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Polly lived most of her life in Grady County. She worked at Love's Country Store in Chickasha as assistant manager.

Polly was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Smith.

Survivors include: 1 son; Tommy Lail of Chickasha, Oklahoma; mother Alma Smith of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 1 sister; Reba Marr and Mike Carlton of Purcell, Oklahoma; 2 brothers; Danny and Debra Smith of Krumm, Texas; Steve and Rosetta Smith of Portales, New Mexico; special friend; John "Corky" Corr; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Interment will be in the Amber Cementary under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
