Dale Dean Chisum
January 5, 1956 ~ August 24, 201


Dale Dean Chisum, 59, of Duncan passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Dale was born January 5, 1956 at Duncan, Oklahoma the son of Orvil Andrew and Lona "Jo" [Penrod] Chisum.

He loves fishing with his brothers and friends, play volleyball, all out door activities and especially spending time with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. His jokes and laughter would fill any room he entered and he loved others happy and being together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ronny and Orville Chisum, Jr, and grandparents James and Ruby Penrod and Andrew and Jesse Chisum.

Survivors include two daughters Kristy Chisum of Longview, Texas and Jennifer Chisum of Duncan; Three grandchildren Chance Files and his wife Brianna of` Duncan and Kaylea Files and Destiny Files both of Longview, Texas; four great grandchildren Casey Files, Lia Taylor, Axl Files and Alijah Hanett; two sisters Barbara (Bobbie) Shelton and her husband Donald of Duncan and Shirley Hutto and her husband the late Ray Hutto of Bowie, Texas and two brothers Troy Chisum and Kenneth Chisum both of Duncan as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Little UPCI officiating.

Interment will follow in the Wynnewood Cemetery.
