Herbert Ray Loper
August 18, 1920 - May 29, 1975


Services for Herbert Ray Loper, 54, Pauls Valley, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Stufflebean Funeral Home chapel, Pauls Valley, with Rev. J.L. Poindexter officiating. Burial will be in Whitebead cemetery.

Loper was born August 18, 1920 in Pauls Valley and died May 29, 1975 in Colonial Nursing Home, Pauls Valley. He had lived in Pauls Valley all his life and was a veteran of WWII.

Survivors are his wife, Dolly, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Sherrill, Pauls Valley; Mrs. Lou Prather, Pauls Valley; Mrs. Jo Ellen Burns, Pauls Valley; eight sons, Jessie Loper, Bakersfield, Ca.; Claud Britt, Linden, Ca.; Edward Britt, Pauls Valley; Harold Loper, Pauls Valley; Paget Loper, Sulphur; Acey Loper, Paoli; George Loper, Pauls Valley; Ray Loper, Pauls Valley; one brother, Hollis Loper, Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Roxie Kinard, Bakersfield, CA.; 30 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
