Catherine June [Cook]
June 22,1934 ~ October 11, 2007


Funeral services for Catherine J. Conrad will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007, at Ardmore Church of Christ, 2712 Mount Washington Road.

Interment will follow the service at the Purdy Cemetery in Garvin County. Arrangements are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home, Pauls Valley.

Catherine J. Conrad passed from this life into eternity on October 11, 2007.

Born Catherine June Cook on June 22, 1934, to James Crafton and Foy Cook, she was the youngest of six children.

Catherine graduated from Lindsay High School and Oklahoma State University with bachelors and masters degrees in Home Economics.

On May 24, 1958, she married Jim Conrad of Springer. They spent more than 49 years as husband and wife, best friends and business partners.

Catherine is survived by her beloved Jim and their three children: Jena Coffey, St. Louis, Jonna Way, Atlanta, and James Conrad, Houston; and foster son, James Williams, Sulphur. Catherine is also survived by seven grandchildren, one sister, Phyllis Cook Pearce, Charlotte, N.C., many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

The Conrad family would especially like to express appreciation to the church family at Ardmore Church of Christ for the devoted care they gave Catherine in the last months of her life.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. today at the Church of Christ.
