November 4, 2006 Justin Whitefield February 3, 1973 ~ November 4, 2006 Justin Whitefield was born on February 3, 1973 in Pauls Valley, Ok and went to be with his Lord on November 4, 2006. Justin graduated from Paoli High School in 1991 and received his Bachelors degree in business from OSU in 1994. He then attended the OU College of Law and graduated in the top 15% of his class in 1997. Justin worked with the Derryberry Law Firm and Oklahoma Farm Bureau acting as general counsel and was currently serving as their insurance lobbyist, along with multiple other insurance companies. Justin's most rewarding position was being Executive Director of the Oklahoma Youth Expo where he worked closely for and with the agriculture youth of Oklahoma. Justin was a former State FFA officer and credited the FFA program for his success. Justin is survived by his wife Clyda, son Derby and daughter Kennedy, all of the home. Parents Bill Whitefield of Pauls Valley and Vickie and Carl Coy of Choctaw, Sister Mandi Whitefield of Hempstead, Texas. Grandparents Glen and Charlene Beck of Wayne, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Mabel Whitefield of Pauls Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Justin Whitefield Academic Scholarship Fund c/o Paoli Public School; P.O. Box 278 Paoli, Oklahoma 73074 or to the Justin Whitefield Junior Livestock Memorial Fund in care of Oklahoma Youth Expo, 816 North Broadway, Oklahoma City, Ok 73105. Memorial services will be held at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. A reception will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2006 followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2006 in the Paoli Cemetery with Dr. Joe Elam & Bro. Ray Perryman officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley. |
