Edith Pearl [Simmons] Sheppard
May 12, 1920 ~ March 16, 2011


Edith Pearl Sheppard of Pauls Valley entered this life in Wichita, Kansas on May 12, 1920 to William Earl and Mattie Pearl [Brown] Simmons and entered eternal life in Pauls Valley on March 16, 2011 at the age of 90 years 10 months and 4 days.

Mrs. Sheppard is survived by: 4 sons - Ken Campbell & Peggy of Springer, Oklahoma; Jim Campbell & Mary of Pauls Valley; David Sheppard & Kay of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and Phil Sheppard & Jamie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 6 daughters - Linda McMahan-Shaw & Bob; Jeanie Rickey & James; Janie Gregory & Billy; Audrey Williams & Sherman; Susan Knight & Bob; and Alberta Brummett , all of Pauls Valley 33 Grandchildren 60 Great-Grandchildren 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Sheppard was preceded in death by her husband James E. "Jim" Campbell who passed away in 1948, her husband James H. "Shep" Sheppard who passed away in 2003; her parents Earl and Mattie Simmons; her daughter Marquitta Blevins; brothers Bob and Dale Simmons; sister Evelyn Moore; sons-in-law John Brummett, Bobby McMahan and Butch Morse; and grandchild Candy Sheppard.

Funeral services for Edith Pearl Sheppard are scheduled for Friday, March 18, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. in Paoli Cemetery in Paoli, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
