Clarence E. Rogers
December 24, 1939 ~ June 13, 2013


Clarence E. Rogers of Purcell formerly of Pauls Valley was born December 24, 1939 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Robert Vernon and Nora Alice Rogers. He passed away June 13, 2013 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

Clarence was raised in Parsons, Kansas where he attended school. Later he entered the U.S. Marines and is a veteran of the Korean War Era.

He was married to Judy [Roberts] Rogers in Pauls Valley, Ok on August 18, 1967.

He was a retired machinist at Tinker AFB.

He was a member of Church of the Nazarene.

He made Pauls Valley his home for 10 years until recently when he moved to Purcell.

He was preceded in death by parents; his sister Martha Murrow, his brother Jimmy Rogers.

Surviving family include his wife Judy, of the home; two sons, Mitch Rogers of Blanchard, Ok; and Richard and Jennifer Rogers of Blanchard, OK; one daughter, Kimberley and Dave Wise of Marion, NY; brothers, Homer Rogers of Ponca City, OK; and John Rogers of Augusta, KS; sisters, Barbara Rogers of Joplin, MO; Sue Blake of Olathe, KS; Dorothy Dietsche of Parsons, KS; Mary Stuart of Joplin, MO; mother in law, Odessa Roberts of Pauls Valley, OK; five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Eddie Stark. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
